BIG "D" RUNNERS
Spencer Lynn captured first place in the 4A Boys 3200m and Catherine Loden garnered 3rd place in the Girls Elite 1600m during the 44th Annual Jesuit-Sheaner Relays in Dallas. Lynn posted a time of 9:57.25 in the 3200m and Loden clocked 5:03.96 in the 1600m.

Thursday, March 13th White Oak hosted the Quad Meet in which White Oak placed first in several events.

Panthers Take Home the Trophy
Garrett Methvin led his team past White Oak's best attempts to narrow the lead, allowing only one hit and striking out twelve and with an impressive three out of four hits and three RBIs.

Ladynecks Win the Tournament
The Spring Hill/White Oak Softball Tournament started Thursday, February 28 and continued until Saturday, March 1. Spring Hill and White Oak battled it out at the championship game with White Oak triumphing 8-6 in an extra inning.

Spring Hill boys triumphed overall by a fairly large margin, and the Lady Panthers were a close second to the Ladynecks.

White Oak Roughnecks met the Van Vandals at the University of Texas at Tyler's basetball gymnasium for bi-district. White oak put the pressure on early, earning a 10-0 lead, but were unable to maintin it. Van came back in the third quarter. Despite Jackson McCurdy scoring 22 points, Trevor Coppedge with 21, Blake Ware with 9, and Connor Sharp with 5, the Necks were unable to control the Vandals who won the game 65-61.

The Class A Division II Region 3 Quarter Final game was won by Avinger, whose season record ended 33-1. With his 850th win, Coach Ken Loyd led his team to Stephen F. Austin Friday, February 29th to face Lipan in hopes of continuing down the road towards State.

In a 75-51 bi-district win over Kerens, Tatum presses on in the playoffs. Calvin Stoker, Cashas Pollard and Matt Brown extended their wings to aide the team. The Eagles season record ended at 14-5.

Schools from the area participated in the Spring Hill Track Meet Friday, February 23. The frigid weather made the event that much more memorable.

Clinching district with a win at home from Gilmer left the Necks smiling. Jackson McCurdy returned to play after being on the disabled list from an ankle injury and they continue on to the playoffs against Van.

After taking control at the beginning of the game, the Lady Eagles coasted with control over the remainder with the help of Jordan Hughes and Krisia Hernandez to end the game 60-56. The Lady Eagles season ended with a record of 25-5.
